The pros for using flash are to add light to dimlit situations and to freeze time. The cons for using flash are hot spots, red eyes, and dark backgrounds. Flash is a good idea at times when its to dark and you dont want the picture to come out so blurry. Thsi picture is good without flash because the lights give the picture shadows and if there was flash there wont be those pretty colors in the water.
