Aperture is a tool to use when you want to blur out the background in the picture and only focus on the one object. On the second picture they used a small lens because the background is very blurry and in the first one they used a bigger lens because the background is not as blurry and pixelated. I most definetly will use this in the future because I think pictures like this are beautiful and interesting.
